June 14: Tree Time (A Tree’s Story) - Learn to tell a tree’s story by examining a cross section, bark and leaves.
June 21: Greens - Explore the world of greens with Melvin from We the People Opportunity Farm.
June 28: Tree Time (A Tree’s Gifts) - Discover what trees do for us.
July 5: Sensory Garden Exploration - Please touch the plants. We’ll play smell guessing games and make leaf rubbings using garden herbs.
July 12: Tree Time (Tree Troubles) - Make a Tree Journal and learn about distress in a tree.
July 19: Math in the Garden - Discover numbers, patterns and more math concepts in the garden.
July 26: Garden-to-Table Cooking - See what’s growing in the garden, harvest it, make a recipe!
August 2: Tasting Day - Hear The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear, then taste strawberry and spinach salad with Healthy Habits Start Now.
Our largest branch on Whittaker Road, near the roundabout, has 5 meeting rooms, including our large Community Room.
