Interested in e-commerce for your existing business or in an online-only business? This session will provide an overview of e-commerce for those interested in setting up an e-commerce business. The session will consider types of e-commerce, market segments, and current/recent market trends. In addition, the session will discuss basic websites, integrated platforms (e.g., Shopify), and confined platforms (e.g., eBay). Other topics include marketing channels and tools, finding marketing suppliers, special accounting software and determining profitability.
