Join YDL staff for an all ages family event during First Fridays! Families will enjoy books and stories, space to make art or craft together, and music and songs to get you excited for the weekend.

Join YDL staff for an all ages storytime to kickoff your evening at First Fridays Ypsilanti. Each month we will do a storytime, an art experience, and music and movement in the Library Plaza. In case of severe weather we will have our event in the Youth Area of the Michigan Avenue branch.

Registration is appreciation so that enough materials can be prepared for each child who will be joining the class that day!

April: Rain
Don't let any weather stop you from enjoying yourself! Come down in rain or shine for this month's storytime. This month we will make a rain stick, so you can make it "rain" anywhere.

May: Flowers
The saying is April showers bring May... flowers! This month's craft will be a bunch of paper flowers- some with a special surprise in the middle!
