Join us for a reading of narratives created by members of the Fred Hart Williams Genealogical Society; there will also be a book signing after the readings.
Do you enjoy family stories? Are you a history buff? Join us for a reading of narratives and a book signing by some of the authors of Telling Our Stories: A Collection of Family History Narratives, created by members of the Fred Hart Williams Genealogical Society. In honor of the organization's 40th anniversary, members contributed family stories to create the book.
The Fred Hart Williams Genealogical Society is a Detroit based organization founded in 1979 to research and preserve African American life and culture. This event is free to the public and books will be available for purchase for $35 cash, check or charge, after the readings.
