Get a chocolatier's experience by tempering chocolate with students from the University of Michigan's Material Science & Engineering (UM MSE) Outreach team!
Learn how heat affects the taste and texture of chocolate by a special process called chocolate tempering! UM's MSE outreach group will show us how different ways of heating and cooling chocolate affect its atomic structure and our experience of eating it! We will also discuss how heat impacts metals for engineering applications. For ages 7 and up!
