See what 3D printers can do and how they do it. Bring your own 3d printer and show off what you're doing with it!
3D printers have made it into homes, schools, and libraries but most people don't understand how they work. Home 3D printers are making everything from toys, prosthesis, tools, replacement parts, jewelry, and more. Find out all the fascinating fun and useful things that can be made by these printers. Talk to people who are using these machines and see what they're doing and how they're doing it! All are invited, those with and without 3D printers! Also, get a look at YDL's two new 3D printers in action.
If you have a 3D printer, you are invited to bring your printer(s) and show off the items you've made. Meet like-minded people and share tips and tricks. Table and electricity provided. Contact Joy at joy@ypsilibrary.org or text at 734-732-2634 to signup for a table.
NOTE: Due to lack of proper ventilation, resin printed items are welcome but no demos and please use PLA filament for FDM printers.
