Building a Community Connection through Dance is a dementia friendly monthly introduction to dance class where participants will have time to socialize while learning new forms of dance. Seated movement and variations to accommodate different abilities will be provided.
This program is for individuals with any stage of dementia. A care partner/caregiver must attend with the person living with dementia. Registration is required.
Danielle Dros (she/her) is a licensed social worker, Alzheimer’s Association volunteer, and dance teacher living in Ypsilanti. She has been teaching various forms of dance for over twelve years. Danielle is passionate about bringing the joy and benefits of dance to those in her community and believes that it’s never too late to start moving and grooving.
