Drop in to play chess at the library! Thanks to support from the US Chess Federation, we are improving this year’s club and expanding the age range of participants. Each month:
Week 1: structured play (2 rounds of quick chess), with US Chess rated play starting in November
Week 2: casual play, with a break for a lesson from 4:45-5:15
Week 3: casual play, plus time for top player research and position collection for the book we’ll create this year
Week 4: casual play, with a break for a lesson from 4:45-5:15
All skill levels are welcome. Designed for youth grades K-12.
