STEM Family Time is an 8-week family program using the hands-on Dare2Design model, going from identifying a problem, designing a solution, and creating a prototype, while having fun the entire time!
Your family will work together to problem solve, innovate, and convert ideas into reality while dabbling with coding, 3D modeling, machine learning, or traditional building techniques. Families will work with EMU professors, engineering students and others while engaging in understanding, breaking, and making. In March, participating youth will have an opportunity to showcase their prototype at The Henry Ford Young Inventors Competition. Dinner, incentives, and fun are included! Sponsored by Toyota and EMUiNVENT. This program is targeted at families from underrepresented groups with children in 2nd-8th grade. Registration required, contact Joy Cichewicz at 734-879-1314 or joy@ypsilibrary.org.
