Seniors (ages 55 and older)! Join us each month as we work to represent and give voice to the needs of older adults at the library.
YDL's Senior Advisory Board (SAB) is a group of elders (ages 55 and up) residing in the library's service area. Recognizing that older adults are a diverse, ever-growing population, SAB serves the critical functions of suggesting library programs, building community among older adults, and representing voices of older adults in the library.
Some of the many things we've done this year: created a senior-centric newsletter, learned how to work online library tools, and updated senior-centric Tools for Living kits to be easier for seniors to use. If you have ideas on how to make the library more senior friendly and work better for seniors, join us!
