Hear Ypsilanti author Heather Neff read from her latest works.
Ypsilanti author and EMU Professor Emerita Heather Neff will discuss her most recent work, the Alex Paradise crime novels, her short story collection, Lilith and Other Loves, and her trilogy of poetry books, The Paris Hours, Vespers, and Kairos.
Neff's work has focused on many themes, from her international romance novels, Blackgammon and Accident of Birth, to her award-winning ancestry thriller, Wisdom. Neff also focuses on issues of addiction and recovery in Haarlem.
Her human trafficking Leila novels were followed by her multi-generational love story, Blissfield. Neff's love song to Detroit, Saffron Bloom, led to Alex Paradise & Domino and its sequel, Alex Paradise & the Ubuntu Stone. Neff will discuss her writing process and share tips on how to begin writing projects and see them through to completion.
Copies of some of Heather's titles will be available for purchase after her talk.
