STEM Family Time is an 8-week family program using EMUiNVENT's hands-on Dare2Design model. Students will identify a problem, design a solution, and create a prototype, while having fun!
Your family will work together to problem solve, innovate, and convert ideas into reality while prototyping and dabbling with 3D design and printing. Families will work with EMU professors, engineering students and others while engaging in understanding, breaking, and making. In March, participating youth will have an opportunity to showcase their prototype at The Henry Ford Michigan Invention Convention. Dinner, incentives, and fun are included! Sponsored by Toyota and EMUiNVENT. This program is targeted at families from underrepresented groups with children in 2nd-8th grade. Registration required, contact Joy Cichewicz at 734-879-1314 or joy@ypsilibrary.org.
