Use a professional-grade document scanner—on loan from the Library of Michigan—to make high-quality scans of documents 8.5 x 11" (the size of a standard sheet of paper) or smaller, including photographs, correspondence, and vital records.

Scans may be saved to a USB flash drive or sent to an email address as .pdf files. Attendees are welcome to bring their own USB Drives, but drives will also be available for purchase at the library for $5-$10.
PLEASE NOTE: This event is meant to help the community digitize documents to preserve family and local history. We can not answer questions about the validity or use of scanned documents for legal or commercial purposes.
