Hear Ypsilanti resident Dwight Wilson read from three collections of short stories based on the voice of his ancestor, Sarah.
Ypsilanti resident Dwight Wilson will read excerpts from three collections of short stories published by Running Wild Press of Los Angeles: The Kidnapped, The Resistors, and The Re-Remembered. Each collection is written in the voice of his 4th-great grandmother, Sarah, a fugitive from injustice who married Charles Ferguson, a Quaker descended from the Penn family. The stories cover the period between 1795 and the beginning of the Civil War. A book signing will follow the reading.
