Hands-on science demonstrations with local scientists. Make slime, crystallize a salt, make elephant toothpaste, and more!

Cayman Chemical scientists and Huron Valley ACS members will offer hands-on science demonstrations including some you can take home!

Some examples are:

  • Extract DNA from strawberries
  • Make slime
  • Crystallize a salt
  • Make elephant toothpaste
  • Silver mirror
  • Create Polyurethane foam
  • Density column testing
  • Plating pennies with silver and gold
  • Make a lava lamp
  • Create chromatography flowers
