This hybrid series screens films that provide the opportunity to safely engage in conversation about the topic of racism. Local storyteller and peace activist La'Ron Williams will lead discussion.
Our September program will screen videos to explain and analyze Project 2025, otherwise known as Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise. Project 2025 says, "Our goal is to assemble an army of aligned, vetted, trained, and prepared conservatives to go to work on Day One to deconstruct the Administrative State." Much of Project 2025 relates to gender, sexuality, and race with the aim to end federal government's efforts to achieve equity. Fundamental principles built into Project 2025 that affect racial justice include:
