"Embracing Your Crown" is a two-part series to help families caring for black hair embrace their crown through self-care, consent, and alopecia awareness.
During this two-part series we will explore the following themes, along with alopecia awareness:
Jan. 22 (YDL-Whittaker): Hair care and consent—for children 6 and up.
Mar. 26 (YDL-Superior): Hair demo and workshop where participants can practice styling hair—for ages 10 and up.
Thanks to Brittany Smith, owner of Char-She Beauty supply store, for donating sample hair products for participants.
