Jun 21: Fete de la Musique - Started in 1982 in Paris, Fete de La Musique Day or Make Music Day is celebrated world wide! Join us to make instruments and enjoy our garden sound wall.
Jun 28: Fairy Wings, Crowns and Bracelets - Decorate wings and crowns and make nature bracelets to wear home.
Jul 5: Math in the Garden - Math is everywhere, especially in the garden! Practice weighing, measuring, comparing and tasting.
Jul 12: Water Play - Investigate the properties of water as you play at a water table, experiment with erosion, and build a boat. Come ready to get wet on a slip and slide!
Jul 19: Nature Identification - Learn about what’s growing in the natural areas around the library and hone your observational, scientific nature drawing skills with Doodles Academy.
Jul 26: Birding - Take a birding walk with Washtenaw Bird and Nature Alliance, play bird bingo, and learn bird facts.
Aug 2: Field day - Play lawn games and celebrate the end of summer programs with cool treats.
