Spice up your life with greens, herbs, and edible flowers! Learn more about what to do with these amazing plant powerhouses.
Learn how to use greens and herbs to make new salads or add flavor to new dishes. We will also learn more about edible flowers, how they can be used, and what science can teach us about plants and their properties. No previous gardening experience is necessary - just an enthusiasm for learning. Don’t have enough space outdoors to garden? All the lessons can be learned and used in our community garden.
Our Grow Your Garden series, aimed at giving new and experienced young gardeners space to try new techniques and learn from the gardening community, is open to any age child or children and their family members. Our classes will include hands-on learning about different gardening techniques, time to practice a new skill, and take-home supplies. Registration is appreciated so that we can prepare enough materials.
