Join Growing Hope Gardener Esha and Library Gardener Stephanie for an informative, fun, and competitive program all about hot sauce!
Join Growing Hope Gardener Esha and Library Gardener Stephanie for an informative, fun, and competitive program all about hot sauce! Using peppers, tomatoes, and other garden ingredients from the library’s community garden and from the Growing Hope farm, teens will learn how different hot sauces are made, create their own hot sauce blend, and then have their hot sauces judged in a fiery battle to the finish! Each teen will leave with their own bottle of hot sauce and the recipe to make more. This is an after-hours Teen event open to ages 12-18. The event will take place in the Growing Hope Marketplace, participants will walk over to the marketplace together after meeting in the library.
Registration is required.
